Corratec Urban 7
This is the entry level eBike from Corratec although the specification list is so comprehensive you would never know it with Bosch Motor, 300w battery, front & rear disc brakes, led lighting, mud & chainguards, luggage rack, front suspension, 9 gears but arguably the really big deal is the option of a small (39cm) frame with 26” wheels for shorter riders as well as a 44cm for 5’8 - 6’0 tall riders. Corratec Urban 8
Using the same superb frame design as the Urban 7, the Urban 8 also offers a range of frames including the Compact size for shorter riders along with Medium and large frame sizes but Corratec have added hydraulic disc brakes, fitted a larger, 400w battery and Shimano 7 speed hub gears, excellent value for money for a German engineered eBike at £1999 rrp. This is the award winning one size LifeS from Corratec, fitted the more
powerful Bosch Active Line Plus Motor a big 400w battery and host of
innovations, firstly this is an easy to ride bike, the special handlebars
and the geometry means that we set this bike up so your feet are flat on
the ground when you are sat in the very comfortable gel saddle,
secondly it is geared to get away easily, extra large pedals make for a
more confident pedal position and thirdly those extra fat tyres make it
easier to balance on rutted roads and rough surfaces, add in the
powerful disc brakes and you have an ultra safe bike perfect for less
confident riders or for those who simply want to sit back and enjoy a
leisurely cruise.
